As of Jan 1st, 2022 Mennonite Trust Ltd. is now Amity Trust. With the new name comes a new logo:

In short, to reach more people. We have heard it too often that people think they can’t deal with us because they’re not Mennonite. While we’re extremely proud of our Mennonite heritage, we want to help everyone, whether they identify as Mennonite or not. If the name is a barrier to us providing help to someone, then we need to remove that barrier.

The word Amity is synonymous with peace, friendliness, sociableness, and good will. These words capture the relationship that we have with our clients and also speak to the financial peace focus that we’ve had for years. The word Amity pays homage to our Mennonite roots of non-violence and pacifism, which is also captured by the olive branch icon that makes up part of the logo.

The name and the logo. That’s it.
